One Hundred
The Bunya Mountains National Park was gazetted 1st August, 1908. To commemorate the centenary of this event, Bunya Forest Gallery will be holding a special exhibition: ‘One Hundred’ during August, 2008. The opening night will be Friday 1st August. We will have 100 pieces of art for the 100 years of the national park.
Our regular contributing artists from the gallery are working to create special pieces which will reflect some aspect of life on the mountains or the national park. Works in oils, acrylics, water colour, print, photography, wood, textiles, clay, glass and silver will feature in the collection.
Tickets for the opening night need to be pre-purchased by contacting the gallery (tickets will not be available at the door) $11 per person which includes 1 glass of wine and savouries. Additional wine, beer & liqueurs, soft drinks and juice can be purchased during the evening.
